So now and then I go to the coast. Just to walk on the beachline, organizing my thoughts while
I leave the imprint of my feet in the wet sand. To get inspired by the look, smell and feeling of
the sea. I’ve got a fascination for the tides, ebb and flow. This playful interaction between the
sea and the beach, give space and take space. This can be seen as a metaphor which is also very applicable
to the moments that play a role in our lives. Whether it is the tide within relationships, work, the
environment or our society in general. The water is sometimes up to our lips, sometimes we can relax while the
water stands up to our ankles. It’s interesting to see how the sea and the beach solve this together,
fairly structured and quite balanced in terms of time. Then I ask to myself: to what extent do I allow ebb
and flow into my life?
Ebb'n flow is a developing series of prototypes with water
and movement. For more check out my
